Panel Discussion: The Costs of War

Organized by the Student Coalition Against War (SCAW)

The Student Coalition Against War (SCAW) is holding a panel discussion at
Carleton University on Thursday, January 19th at 6 PM to highlight the
increasing human, social and financial costs of war in our world today. The
panel forms part of general campaign of mobilization meant to build for
Ottawa wide anti-war demonstrations on March 18th, the third anniversary of
the war in Iraq. Speakers for the panel represent a range of interests
from around Carleton’s campus and will offer reflections on war from the
perspective of their group; thus far confirmed speakers include the Human Rights Society, the MSA, and the Student Issues in Action Committee.
